old Londoner Bukayo Saka cried because Donnarumma, a goal keeper from Italian

score against Italy in few minutes after the match starts.
Critical thinking
a. "Every match is a new opportunity. Put its
failure behind and start over again." does this apply to the Italian
football team when we analyze their performance from their failure to qualify
for the World Cup Football to their victory in the European Championship in
these four years?
Ans:-"Every match is a new
opportunity. But its failure behind and start over again." This line is
applied to the Italian football team. Four years ago, Italy failed to qualify
for the World Cup for the first time is six decades. It is not sure that one
time winner will be the all-time winner. There are lots of circumstances that
determine the victory of a team in the competition. The role of the coach, the
determination of the players, their performances on the ground, team work
spirit, supports of the fans, investment of the country, the role of a goal
keeper, coincidence all these things determine a team to be a winner. Despite
the best performances, a slight mistake from any side gives grounds enough to
lose the competition. In Euro Cup 2020 final, England scored a goal within few minutes
after the match begins. Despite the defensive play, England lost the match in
penalty shootouts. Italian goal keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma saved the decisive
kick by a 19 years old Londoner Bukayo Saka, making the Italy team winner of
the Euro Cup 2020. This is the rebirth of the Italian National team. This match
gave a chance to Italy to become a champion again in the soccer's history of
Italy.
b. When a team
plays in a home ground, it gets a huge support from the audience in the
stadium. Does this support them to win the match or the players may feel
pressure to win and thus lose? What do you think?
Ans: - Obviously when a team plays in
a home ground, it feels pressure to win the match because of a huge support
from the audience in the stadium as well as the high expectation of them. The
English team was playing the final match of Euro Cup 2020 against Italy at
Wembly stadium, with the pressure of English fans hoping to celebrate the
team's first international trophy since 1966 World Cup. Not only the players
were getting a huge support from the audience but also, they had a pressure to
heal a painful half century wait in losing several matches for the six decades.
I think the players can't play confidently in a home ground if they fell such
pressure to win the match. England's first score against Italy within few
minutes after the match begins shows that the players were in an extreme
pressure. They felt that they had to win the match at any cost. The pressure is
even more increased when the players witness their fans burst into extreme
happiness after this score. As a result, afterwards, the players hardly break
Italy's midfielder's possession of the ball. Each team makes equal goal till
the end of the match after extra time. England replaces special penalty takers
on the end in extra time which also proves that the players are felling extreme
pressure to with the cup. Marcus Rashford and Jadon Saancho miss the penalty
shootouts because they had pressure to win the match on penalty shootouts.
